ANALYSIS: Liberals Line Up At The White House
Excerpt:U.S. President Barack Obama makes a statement about his proposed federal deficit reduction plan in the Rose Garden at the White House, Sept. 19, 2011 in Washington, DC. (Chip Somodevilla/Getty Images)) In the wake of the 2010 drubbing of Democrats and the ascendancy of the Tea Party, President Obama was forced to extend the Bush tax cuts for the wealthiest Americans, angering plenty liberals in the party. Fast-forward two years later, and today those liberal allies of the president come to the White House under much different circumstances -- triumphant and assured that the president will stick by his campaign promise to rescind the tax cuts on the wealthy.

Key:
- Aggregate Sentiment is meant to be an indicator of an individual's overall sentiment.
- The Mean is meant to be an indicator of an individual's average comment sentiment.
- The Standard Deviation, when there are enough quotes, will indicate an individual's consistency of sentiment (i.e. a Standard Deviation of 0 would mean they were very consistent in their sentiment and 1 would mean they were very inconsistent).
Note that quote stats are likely to be meaningless beyond the aggregate score due to the tiny sample size. However, they are always provided just in case you find something useful there.
