Eyewitness News pointed out a motorist as saying Wednesday that rocks have been put on a freeway near Grabouw town, and there is a heavy police presence. Protesters are likewise demonstrating around the town of Wolseley. The strikers are attempting to avoid various other farmer hands from going to work. They desire their daily wages to be even more than doubled to 150 South African rand ($ 17.5).
Last year, farmers presented similar protests that turned violent, resulting in a minimum of two deaths. Many farmers work in wineries in the location. South Africa is a major wine producer.
