After N. Korea rocket launch, all eyes on China
Excerpt:Whether that response includes new sanctions against the North, which the United States and its European allies are seeking, depends first and foremost on China, the North's closest ally which has not made its position clear. Even Russia expressed "deep regret" over the launch, with its Foreign Ministry saying Pyongyang had violated a U.N. Security Council resolution limiting its use of ballistic technology, reports the Reuters news agency. Chinese Foreign Ministry spokesman Hong Lei cautioned Wednesday in Beijing that the council's response should be "prudent and moderate and conducive to maintaining stability and avoiding escalation of the situation." For now, China appears to want to continue promoting its role as a key mediator between the West and North Korea, while also appearing to not take sides.

Key:
- Aggregate Sentiment is meant to be an indicator of an individual's overall sentiment.
- The Mean is meant to be an indicator of an individual's average comment sentiment.
- The Standard Deviation, when there are enough quotes, will indicate an individual's consistency of sentiment (i.e. a Standard Deviation of 0 would mean they were very consistent in their sentiment and 1 would mean they were very inconsistent).
Note that quote stats are likely to be meaningless beyond the aggregate score due to the tiny sample size. However, they are always provided just in case you find something useful there.
